Admissions
Moving into Allendale House.
A move into residential care is a significant step. We try to keep it simple, honest, and paced around the family — never rushed, never sold.
Five steps, plainly.
- 1
Get in touch
A quick call or email is enough to start. Tell us a little about the person who might move in, and when you'd ideally like care to begin.
- 2
Visit the home
Come and look round at a time that suits — morning, lunchtime, afternoon. Meet the staff on shift; ask anything at all. There's no pressure.
- 3
Needs assessment
If the home looks right, we carry out a full assessment of the resident's needs. We'll talk to them, to family, and to any professionals already involved.
- 4
Agree the plan
We agree a care plan and funding arrangements together — written down, plainly, so everyone knows where they stand from day one.
- 5
Move in, settle in
We keep move-in days gentle. Staff will have read the care plan; favourite foods will be on the menu; we'll have made the room feel like theirs.
Fees & funding
Fees depend on the room chosen and the level of support required. We'll always quote in writing, without obligation. We can take funded placements from East Riding of Yorkshire social services where appropriate.
For a current fees breakdown, please call 01482 898379 or send an enquiry.
